1) How do I sign in?
You must sign in using your active Facebook account. By signing in you agree to our terms & conditions and privacy policy. We only have access to your first name, last name, Facebook friends that use this app and profile picture.

2) How do I sign in with a different account?
If you have the Facebook app installed you need to sign out of the facebook app first then log in with a different account. Then you can log out of the goLiftApp in the settings menu. Once logged out you can log back into the goLiftApp. Because you have logged in with a different account on the facebook app, you will automatically sign in with that facebook account.

3) How do I offer a lift?
From the home screen, go to offer a lift then fill in all the details which are the start location, destination, date on which you are offering the lift, the time at which you are leaving, then result filter preference i.e if you want anyone to see your lift offer or only Facebook friends and lastly the number of seats you have available.

4) How do I request a lift?
From the home screen, go to request a lift then fill in all the details which are the start location, destination, date on which you are requesting the lift, then result filter preference i.e if you want anyone to see your lift offer or only Facebook friends and lastly the number of seats you would like.

5) How do I see lifts I have offered?
From the home screen go to lifts I'v offered, you will see a list of all the upcoming lifts you have offered. If you have a match to a lift offer, you will see a count on that lift offer.

6) How do I see lifts I have requested?
From the home screen go to lifts I'v requested, you will see a list of all upcoming lifts you have requested. If you have a match to a lift request, you will see a count on that lift request.

7) How do I accept a lift offer?
You can accept a lift offer if there is an offer that matches your lift request. You can see if you have any matches by going to lifts I've requested, then selecting the lift that you have requested, then find the person you want to accept a lift from by clicking accept. You can also click decline if you don't want to see that person's lift offer.

8) How do I accept a lift request?
You can accept a lift request if there is a request that matches your lift offer. You can see if you have any matches by going to lifts I've offered, then selecting the lift that you have offered, then finding the person you want to give a lift to by clicking accept. You can also click decline if you don't want to see that person's lift request.

9) How do I send a message to a person who is offering a lift that matches my request?
You can send a message if there is an offer that matches your lift request. You can see if you have any matches by going to lifts I've requested, then selecting the lift that you have requested, then selecting message to the person you want to send a message to.

10) How do I send a message to a person who is requesting a lift that matches my offer?
You can send a message if there is a request that matches your lift offer. You can see if you have any matches by going to lifts I've offered, then selecting the lift that you have offered, then selecting message to the person you want to send a message to.

11) How do I chat to the people that have accepted my offer?
You can send a message by going to chats, then selecting the group where you offered the lift, from there you can send a message to all the participants of the group or trip.

13) Can I send my location to people in the chat section?
Yes you can, from the chat screen you can click on the gps icon to send your current location or nearby location.

14) How do I delete a chat or mute a chat?
Long press a chat to bring up options to mute or delete a chat.

15) How do I leave a group chat?
From the group chat screen click on the toolbar to bring up the list of participants, then at the bottom you will find the leave group option.

16) How do I see the group chat participants?
From the group chat screen click on the toolbar to bring up the list of participants.

17) What do I see in the feeds section?
The feeds section shows all available lift offers made by users, you can also filter the offers for pick up location, drop off location and also option to see only Facebook friends offers'.

18) How do I edit/remove a lift I have offered?
From the home page, go to lifts I've offered, then long press on the lift you would like to amend, you will then see 2 options. One will be to edit and the other would be to delete the offer.

From the home page, go to lifts I've requested, then long press on the lift you would like to amend, you will then see 2 options. One will be to edit and the other would be to delete the request.

20) How do I turn off notifications?
You can turn off notifications from the menu, go to settings then click on notifications to turn them on or off.

21) How do I logout?
You can logout from the menu, go to settings then click on logout.
